Search & Call Goes Road Tripping

As we pointed out in the last Full Circle, the "house" Search and Call is building is coming very close to occupancy. Our process continues; details are added. And now we will be getting away, taking "road trips" (as Rob O. says).

In the next month, we will be interviewing our finalist candidates face-to-face and observing them preach at neutral pulpits. It's an exciting time. One for which we have worked every Tuesday night since October. (Has it really been that long?)

All of our discussions continue to ask: How well will this pastor fit the needs of our congregation? Will she/he inspire us to reach out and spread God's love through our actions? Will he/she help ground us in our vision and provide the leadership to carry that vision forward? Will she/he provide the Leadership we long for?

Now, more than ever, we ask for your prayers as we listen for the still, small voice of the Still Speaking God. In many ways the whole process feels like a road trip, and it's rewarding to discern the final roadways.
