We continue on alternate Tuesdays, November 11 & 25 from 1:00-2:30 pm in The Fireplace Room. All are welcome to join this book group as we continue a challenging discussion of Becoming a Good Relative: Calling White Settlers toward Truth, Healing, and Repair by Hilary Giovale, the author’s story of her own awakening awareness of her whiteness. She explores the Doctrine of Discovery and our learned false narrative about how we came to live in this country of America which was named Turtle Island by those who first lived here.
