Becoming A Good Relative: Calling White Settlers toward Truth, Healing, and Repair by Hilary Giovale. This group will meet Tuesdays September 16 and 30 at 1:00 pm for about an hour in the Fireplace Room. Join us as we continue discussing of the author’s story of her awakening awareness of her own whiteness. For September 16, we will re-visit Part One: Spinning the Thread and discuss the first Questions for Reflection on Childhood (Page 251-As a child, what were you told about pilgrims, founding fathers, pioneers, and Native Americans?)
