Walking around the Bellingham Cruise Terminal (Fairhaven Ferry Terminal) at the end of Harris Ave. can be very relaxing and picturesque. It is especially nice around sunset.

Larrabee State Park is about 6 miles south of Bellingham and off of beautiful Chuckanut Drive.
The new Waypoint Park is at the site of the old Georgia Pacific (GP) Plant, 1145 Granary Ave.
Zuanich Point Park has lots to offer. It is located on Squalicum Harbor in what is otherwise an industrial area. There is a lot to reflect on here with a meaningful memorial statue and an eight-foot-high anchor to honor fisherman lost at sea.
Big Rock Garden Park is off the beaten path, but once you find it, you will discover a sense of quiet solitude that surrounds you within its 2.5 acres. It is a great place to get away from it all and meditate.
