We received this invitation from Faith Lutheran Church to support Maple Alley Inn, a community meal program operating under Opportunity Council. The mission is simple: to ensure that all members of our community have access to nourishing food and a welcoming place to gather, regardless of background or circumstance.
Thanks to generous partnerships, including Faith Lutheran Church, Maple Alley Inn currently serves free lunch every Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 am-1:00 pm, and free breakfast every Tuesday from 8:00-9:00 am. Each week, we serve upwards of 200 meals to our community members.
We are inviting faith communities and faith-based organizations to sponsor one weekly breakfast at Maple Alley Inn. A single breakfast sponsorship can be provided in one of two ways:
A cash donation of $100–$125, which covers the cost of food and supplies for one breakfast, or
A donation of breakfast ingredients, using a provided shopping list, to support one breakfast service
Your help allows us to provide a hot, balanced meal in a safe and welcoming environment.
