There is a No Kings Rally Saturday, October 18, from 1:00-3:00 pm at Maritime Heritage Park. No Kings Rally is a nationwide rally. It is supported by many organizations that we support such as League of Women Voters and Planned Parenthood.
Signs are welcome. The best signs tell people what we stand for and do it simply. Our goals are to show our numbers and our power, to generate images that portray us as the “good guys” to those who might not read the news, and to deny the opposition images they desperately seek to justify the use of excessive force, or worse, invoking the Insurrection Act. An easy sign is No Kings, No Dictators. Another is Freedom of Speech.
