Green Team

The ‘Green Team’ hopes to help our faith community focus on just one or two items or ideas you and/or your family can try each month: to reduce our carbon footprint; suggest ideas for what you can specifically do; reinforce our monthly ritual in Worship; bring hope to our efforts individually and together on Climate Justice.

The Green Team is the Week 3 Highlighted Satellite Group! The Green Team is a large and enthusiastic group at First Congregational Church, working on ways to create new rituals to celebrate our individual and collective actions.

First Congregational Church had a Green Team from 2010 to 2013, headed by Rob Olason, but this group has not been meeting recently.  After our successful Climate Revival last November and as our congregation considers becoming a Creation Justice church, we are inviting members and friends of the church to join us in a revival of the green team.
