Reverend Tom Hunter passed away at 3:39 am, June 20, 2008. A Vigil for Reverend Hunter takes place at 7 PM June 20, 2008 in the sanctuary of First Congregational Church of Bellingham. More information will be posted as it becomes available. Reverend Tom Hunter was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease which is an aggressive neurological disease. This is not the familial (inherited) type and it is not contagious. There is much mis-information about this disease on the web.
