The Evening

The first part will be a family-oriented concert of Tom’s songs sung by Gwen Hunter and other old time singing friends of Tom.

The second half is a book reading of a book of letters between three men.  There will be three readers in the style of "reader's theatre".  There will be time for sharing those reflections and for questions of the authors.  Book signing will follow.

Becoming Better Men: Stories from Seventeen Years

The letters contain stories from 17 years of round robin letters.  By writing letters to one another three men learned how to share ever-deeper feelings.  They stretched one another to find more honest ways into intimate conversations with their parents, sons and daughters, wives, and friends. Their letters are filled with humor, dreams, stories of wounds from their upbringing, and poignant heart-warming stories.
