First Congregational Church is preparing to help host a group of young people from Saugatuck UCC in Westport, CT.  We’re excited to help support about two dozen high school youth and chaperones while they work in Whatcom County on flood relief projects, and learn more about our region!  They will be in town from June 25- June 30.

Brokedown Palace Sale Paused! Good news! The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) just announced that they're pausing the Brokedown Palace Timber Sale for a second time.

Bellingham's first Wear Orange event, organized by the Committee for Gun Responsibility at First Congregational Church, was a success! In case you missed it, here is video of the speakers.

Wear Orange! is a national coming together of communities to honor and remember people who have been lost to gun violence and to celebrate the strides we are making to put end to the bloodshed.

Love & Solidarity is an exploration of non-violence and organizing through the teachings of Rev. James Lawson. This free online event includes a discussion about the film with the filmmaker and a panel discussion on the role of nonviolence in contemporary Christian activism.
