On March 2, which is Ash Wednesday, we will begin our discussion of Jim Antal’s book, Climate Church, Climate World. Here is a rough reading & discussion schedule.

The Mission and Justice board, in conjunction with the Faith Formation board would like to invite you to participate in a March 26 pantry drive in support of the Birchwood Food Desert Fighters.

Join the women of the Pacific Northwest Conference at N-Sid-Sen for a weekend of faith, fellowship and fun. You are invited to set aside intentional time for renewing yourselves both individually and collectively. We will engage in creativity, dance the labyrinth, and listen deeply to Spirit in our midst. There will be space for laughter and tears and all that is in between. Come ready for soul play.

The Faith Formation Board, in collaboration with the Mission & Justice Board, has selected Climate Church, Climate World by Jim Antal, a UCC pastor, as the All Church Read for 2022.

Dear Church, We had a bit of a surprise at the church building on Monday morning.  When Kurt, our stalwart Custodian/Maintenance staff person, showed up for work, there was some damage to one of our windows.  It seems that at some point during the night or early in the morning of Monday, someone threw a brick through one of our windows.

Family Promise is hosting an Open House at the Learning Center, March 1st, inviting interested families to come visit the space, meet volunteers, and learn about the tutoring program in an informal setting. To optimize the opportunity for parents to ask questions and talk with volunteers (aka, keeping kids busy!), we are planning a welcome area with welcome baskets filled with kid-friendly activities they can enjoy during their visit and take home.
