Our Stephen Ministers have plans to train people Stephen Ministry classes by Zoom, if need be, starting in January. Throughout the pandemic, we have leaned heavily on already commissioned Stephen Ministers to carry the service when requested by congregants during COVID.

Covenant Groups are a group of 5-8 people exploring faith with one another. This year’s theme, “The Art of Experiencing the Divine,” offers opportunities to explore awe, mystery, grace and more. Three groups will be formed now, with additional groups beginning after the first of the year.

Fresh Start is a ministry of Pilgrim Circle. We offer household items (not furniture) to families moving into permanent housing.

Isolation and loneliness remain active in our world and in Bellingham.  Our congregation, our church family, is providing opportunities for us to remember and connect to belonging. We belong to each other, to our congregation, our neighbors, young people, immigrants, and other populations at risk including women, indigenous and people of color.

We'll be offering a Sunday adult lectionary study beginning October 10 at 11:15 am.

The Neighbors in Need offering is coming up soon, and we wanted to highlight a story from one of last year’s recipients of a NIN grant: Peace Congregational United Church of Christ in South Carolina.

We are in need of some new Stephen Ministers and will be having another Stephen Ministry Training Class early in 2022! Depending on CDC guidelines, we will be meeting in person or via Zoom.
