The Full Circle Blog

  • Grace and Peace to you, siblings in faith!  We've been having some lovely zoom youth group meetings these days.  It's not the same as meeting in person, but we still get to catch up, to goof off, and to talk about important stuff in our lives.  I hope you all are finding some space to connect with others, online or otherwise these days.

  • Elizabeth Park is a great place to stroll, rest, and meditate. It is Whatcom County’s first official park and a treasure trove of many beautiful trees

  • Zuanich Point Park has lots to offer. It is located on Squalicum Harbor in what is otherwise an industrial area. There is a lot to reflect on here with a meaningful memorial statue and an eight-foot-high anchor to honor fisherman lost at sea.

  • Big Rock Garden Park is off the beaten path, but once you find it, you will discover a sense of quiet solitude that surrounds you within its 2.5 acres. It is a great place to get away from it all and meditate.

  • Sitting near or under trees is a great place to meditate and appreciate their natural and unique beauty. WWU has a Tree Tour to help you identify and learn more about their unique collection.
