Many of you remember that we usually have a Village Books book sale in the church narthex during Advent. It is an excellent time to purchase gifts for family and friends and to check out some wonderful books.

Join us Wednesdays in December as we explore Borg and Crossan's unique and compelling read of the Jesus narrative, both in their ancient setting and for us today.

There are many ways to contribute to the success of Holiday Joy! You can:

Donate gifts and/or gift cards. Deliver to FCCB by December 7, volunteer to help at the event, provide stocking stuffersor provide boxes for shoppers to carry their gifts in. (Deliver to FCCB morning of Dec 7 or Dec.11.)

Holiday Joy provides a holiday shopping experience for families who cannot afford gifts for family members during the holidays. You can participate by taking one of the ornaments from the Holiday Joy Tree in the FCCB narthex starting this Sunday, November 16.

Some of you may wonder, how do I know when I can reach members of our staff? It can definitely be confusing, with some of our team in school and others working multiple jobs.

Holiday Joy provides a holiday shopping experience for families who can least afford gifts to provide family gifts at the holidays.

All are welcome to join this book group as we continue a challenging discussion of Becoming a Good Relative: Calling White Settlers toward Truth, Healing, and Repair by Hilary Giovale, the author’s story of her own awakening awareness of her whiteness.
