Faith Formation

  • The November Family Fun Event will be held on Sunday, November 21, from 3:00-4:00 pm at First Congregational Church. Thanksgiving week and Family Promise week coincide.

  • You don’t need to know anything about the Bible to participate! Let's journey through the texts we use in worship. We'll encounter scripture in a different way each week with a mixture of academic study, reading scripture as prayer, devotional reading. We'll share four texts for the following, one of which will be the focus of the worship service.

  • As autumn begins, we are starting up our Wednesday faith formation gatherings again. Faith Formation for Families and Adult Forums will begin Wednesday, September 15.

  • For June 2 and June 9, the Faith Formation Board is reading another essay out of Walter Bruggermann’s book Tenacious Solidarity: Biblical Provocations on Race, Religion, Climate, and the Economy.
