Our church school participants collaborated to interpret the Prayer of Jesus in their own words. The words they amended are shown in bold print below. Maybe their version will speak to you.
Our Creator who lives in Heaven and everywhere, your name is special. Your family come, they will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven and everywhere else. Give us this day our daily love, and forgive us our hurtful things and we forgive our hurters. And lead us away from bad mean things, but deliver us from horribleness, for thine is the kingdom, and the family, and the love, and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
